Modern and personal

We are Luana and Flurina – qualified physiotherapists (BSc)

At physio in in Boll, we support you personally – with evidence-based physiotherapy, a holistic perspective and consideration for your individual story.

Our work begins where symptoms become visible – and extends to the hidden causes behind them. We think in connections, act with purpose and firmly believe that lasting therapy grows out of good collaboration between therapist and patient.

We are convinced that those who truly understand the body create change that lasts.

Luana Fraietta (physiotherapist) and Flurina Aeschlimann (physiotherapist and owner)

Frequently asked questions – good to know

How long does a treatment take?

As a rule, a session lasts 25 minutes.

Do I need a doctor’s prescription?

Yes, for treatments billed to your health insurer or accident insurance. No prescription is needed for self-pay appointments.

Is there parking on site?

Yes, free parking is available in the covered car park at the side of the building. You are welcome to use the yellow visitor spaces on the right-hand side.

What is the aim of physiotherapy?

The aim of physiotherapy is to improve or restore patients’ mobility, function and quality of life. Ultimately, the aim is for patients to manage their symptoms themselves, without physiotherapy.

My doctor has prescribed physiotherapy nine times – do I have to come to physio nine times?

If the goal of therapy can be achieved with fewer sessions, physiotherapy can also be completed before these nine sessions are used up.

What happens at the first appointment?

At the first appointment, a case history is taken, recording your history, the problem and your goals. This is followed by a physiotherapy assessment, on the basis of which a treatment plan can be drawn up.

What do I need to bring?

Please bring your current health insurance card and the physiotherapy prescription issued by your doctor to your first appointment. Comfortable clothing is best for physiotherapy.

How long is a physiotherapy prescription valid?

Physiotherapy should begin within five weeks of the date the prescription was issued. The first appointment must have taken place within these five weeks.

Can I come to physiotherapy for a massage?

For a massage, you can go to a qualified medical massage therapist or a classical massage therapist who bills through supplementary insurance. Physiotherapy is billed through basic health insurance, which does not cover the cost of massage. physio in also does not offer massage on a self-pay basis.

What happens if I miss an appointment or do not cancel it in good time?

physio in understands that appointments occasionally have to be cancelled or rescheduled. Please let us know as early as possible by email or leave a message on our voicemail. Appointments not cancelled 24 hours in advance will be charged to you privately in full.
